Signs, contorted faces, and shrieks
at the 9/12 march on Washington
had assembly-line sameness, and
more than a slight resemblance
to Fox News’ tea-bagging events.

Talk radio intellectuals and lovers
of liberal parody were inspired,
or entertained — a two-fer we needed
after eight years of wasteful war and
wanton destruction of the economy.

Since there is no apparent relief
in sight from the ravages of Republican
rule, Democrats can at least enjoy
laughing at the frantic antics of those
who confuse rhetoric with revolution.
