I hate to keep saying the same thing,
but Bush does.
He says Democrats voted to go to war,
and now they’ve changed their minds.

I say no one voted to go to war.
Congress gave Bush the right to go
as leverage to get inspectors into Iraq.
That worked,
but Bush went to war anyway.
That didn’t.

Instead of working to find a way out,
the President embarks on still another
effort to rewrite history.

Like the flea circus guy at a carnival,
he may confuse a busy public, but he
won’t convince anyone paying attention.
