Ralph Reed attempts to parlay experience as
head of the Christian Coalition, high-priced
political communications consultant, Bush
campaign advisor, and chairman of Georgia
Republicans into Lieutenant Governor.

Is Ralph on a ladder or a slide?

His political base is upset that long-time
friend, “Casino Jack Abramoff, paid him
more than $4 million to help close some Indian
gambling sites, but didn’t tell Ralph the money
came from competing gambling interests.

Who could guess Casino Jack knew gamblers?

Conservative Christians were also troubled by
some of Ralph’s clients, and TV spots
employing racial stereotypes, according to The
New York Times.
The founder of American Family
said, “I don’t know any of us trying to get rich.

Ralph did it without really trying.

Reed got more money from his friend than
Tom Delay did, but since he did some work,
the Majority Leader will get more blame.
Perhaps the media will pay enough attention
that they can equally share the shame.
