		<description>It had never dawned on me before that the only people who listen are those who already agree - and that doesn&#039;t just go for the presidency!

But I have to admit that I don&#039;t listen much to views I don&#039;t agree with - so I don&#039;t know why it surprised me.  I wanted to argue with the poem and say that the narrator _should_ listen, not agreeing is no excuse.  But when you don&#039;t believe what&#039;s being said, what would be the point?</description>
